I am a local technology business owner that moved my family and successful business to San Marcos in 2002. My hands-on approach led me to run for the SMUSD school board to represent and serve the families of this community.

My goal has been and continues to be to bring a fresh perspective to the Board with a focus on the family and children’s education. I draw upon my conservative fiscal experience to ensure that the tax payer’s dollars get used in the most appropriate manner possible. I feel there are two main responsibilities to this position; strong focus on fiscal accountability and to increase academic performance school-by-school and District wide.

We need to keep the standards high at the Elementary level and elevate the Middle and High Schools. SMUSD is the top public school destination in N. County, but there is always room for improvement.
